I hear ya on the elections, not too sure where ya could
find less conservatism. Shit my state even went with
a bible based, bussinessman for Gov who wants to
negate the environmental regs., can the infant wind
industry, and bring in Off-shore drilling.

New York City was one of the few places where the local elections went well for people like me. I'm glad I'm not into politics as much as used to be, because I'd have been really heartsick about the election results.
One of the great things locally is that we finally got rid of a very conservative state senator who'd been in office for decades and represented my district.
Showing the "class act" that he is, he's been bitching and moaning about irregularities in the voting process that cost him the election. What a crybaby.
