Leaving for Atlanta in a few hours. Huzzah!
The internet in my building is all haywire again. I had to remedy the situation. Have Comcast coming over next week to install my own WiFi connection. Huzzah!
I've also found my dream home. It's located in this amazing building in Diamond Head. Right smack on the beach. I have a goal to work towards this next year that I'm in Tuscaloosa. I'm going to work my ass off until I can afford to buy a unit in the building. I'm hoping by this time in 2011 I'll be sipping cocktails on my lanai watching the sunset.
I REALLY miss Hawaii! I miss my afternoon walks. I miss hiking crater, I miss shave ice, I miss Lost, I miss good sushi, I Pimpbot, I miss bodysurfing, I miss Teddy's Burgers, I miss riding The Bus, I miss warm weather, I miss the amazing people I met, I miss the Ilikai, I miss the hippos at the Zoo, I miss fun nights in Waikiki, I miss catching movies 3-4 nights a weeks, I miss HPU (I need to re-enroll), I miss going everywhere in a bikini and slippers and it being okay - walk around Tuscaloosa in that outfit and you're bound to get A. arrested or B. sent to Bryce Hospital for evaluation, I miss Food Pantry, I miss those amazing little Japanese snacks, candies, and Boss Coffee, I miss my daily Jamba Juice, I actually miss being called Haole Girl, I miss pineapple plantations, I miss parties in Haleiwa, I miss having a perma-tan...I even miss the tan lines on my feet from my slippers (HAHA), I miss everything about that place! It's magical! I miss the island life.
