Just got back from visiting my family in Minnesota. Not so cold this year, above 2 Celcius most of the time. Visited friends and watched my son play hockey (he's 10). I also ate a lot. It's hard not to in America, you know? They do up the whole christmas thing a bit too much, so got sick of it in a few days. Everyone is so nice there compared to london. Anyway, not much else, but work. Haven't even been able to go out and take advantage of the late pub hours! Not that I haven't had time, just no invites

London is a dump. I didn't actually start likeing England until I got wheels and was able to get out of london.
Haven't heard of "Earl" but I will be sure to check it out. The last funny thing from america was the simpsons, as far as I'm concerned...
