i've studied religion alot. i know lots of mythology and I took several classes in the philosophy of religion. My chat client info is in the contact link on my profile if you want to talk about anything.
...well...i was raised roman catholic....we weren't really a religious family per se...but we went to church because that's what you were supposed to do....
...organized religion never took root in me...i guess....in high school..and with the little college i had...i studied world religions....just because it interested me...to see what people believe and why they believe it...(i think it was a sociology credit too...if i'm not mistaken...anyway...)
...as a young adult....i did my searching......islam attracted me at first...but quickly realized it wasn't for me...
buddhism seemed right up my alley.....so i learned as much as humanly possible about it...(well humanly possible for me)...
....i don't practice religion on a daily basis.....i too believe in a higher power...(much more so after having a kid)....
...this is what i do....i treat people the way i'd like to be treated...even when they don't reciprocate....and i pick up the occasional spider i find in the house...and i gently place him outside...(just because i'm bigger than it doesn't mean it deserves life less than i do)
that's pretty much my religion...and i think i'll be going where the good ones go when it's over....
i'm stoned and babbling....
and yeah....my daughter was baptized into the catholic church....'cuz that's just what we're supposed to do
