Annie Tetris
When I get into programming mode I cannot stop. It's like trying to pull me through a door when I'm holding onto the doorframe for dear life. And forget about eating. Food does not cross my mind when I'm focused on my code. Anything that takes my fingers away from the keyboard is unlikely to happen unless I really force myself.
Even when I do finally force myself to take a break, I can't stop thinking about the last problem I was working on. Right now the problem is how to clear the lines in Annie Tetris when you get a full line. I have some code that half-works. It will clear a line properly if it's only one line at the very bottom of the screen. I haven't gotten it to work for other lines yet.
I worked for hours and hours on getting a progress bar or a counter as the page loads. I just tried it in IE and the progress bar didn't work but the counter did. It took me forever and ever to figure something out.
Now I don't feel so good. I don't know how to get out of programming mode. Redbeard3 is busy so he's not here to talk at the moment. He said I could call... but he's entertaining guests, I don't want to interrupt him.
I heard a clip the other day of a new song Annie is putting out on her DJ Kicks compilation, "Gimme Your Money". At first I thought it sounded bad. The "gimme your money" chorus sounds kind of discordant and not exactly pleasing to the ear, but I think she did that on purpose. But I like when the piano comes in on the bridge parts (or whatever they're called). It's actually kind of catchy and it's been stuck in my head for hours despite my not having heard the whole thing. It's a long clip though.
Her DJ Kicks album is coming out next month. Let's hope I have money then to buy it. A live cut of her new song "The Wedding" is also on it, but I have that mp3 already, someone posted it on the official forum. Oh and I love it. It's a hot song. I read her say it's the weirdest song she's ever done, and she's right, it's pretty weird. It's all talking. I don't think there's any singing at all. But it rocks. It's a great song.
I guess I have a special fondness for that song anyway because when I saw her perform it live in NYC, I was standing in the front row and she noticed me singing along to her other songs, then when she did The Wedding, she pointed at me once during the "I do" part. I felt special

Oh and the other day I found out she likes to play Playstation. I was so excited. I asked her on her forum what her favorite games are but who knows if she'll answer. I'm afraid to look at the forum because what if she's answered someone else's question and not mine? Oh what the hell let me look. Ok she hasn't answered any new questions. And my question has been pushed down so I'll probably have to bump it back up. If she answers this question I'll be four for four. I should probably just let it go and not stress about it. She's busy touring with Röyksopp.
Oh man. I'm supposed to see Annie in TWO WEEKS. AAAAAAAH!!!!
All right I've had enough stressful thoughts for one evening. Now it's time to relax. I just have to figure out how to do that.

i would like to see a nutritionist too. Ralfy says it costs alot though
I hate when I have to get something done exactly, and right away. That's one of the hard things for me about putting together packages to mail out- I don't assemble them halfway, cuz then it grates on me. I like to assemble, write the note/letter, and seal it up to go all at once.
