Princess Toadstool was in my dream in human form this morning. It was awesome. I was sort of in control of the dream, but I was sort of letting things happen, influencing events as they went along. That's usually the way my dreams go these days.
A group of interdimensional travellers had captured a criminal in another dimension and brought him to a prison here to stand trial. For some reason, they also found Princess Toadstool (the one from the first Super Mario game) and brought her here from the dimension where video game characters live in all their pixelly glory.
The Princess became a human in our dimension. She was probably in her mid-twenties. She retained her pink dress, but her crown was nowhere to be seen. They brought her to the same prison as the criminal for some reason (to keep her safe, or something).
The travellers had other things to attend to after bringing the criminal and the Princess, so they hoped for the best and went about their business. Later, they came back to check on her. As they were walking into the prison, they saw the Princess on one of the prison TVs. She was wearing pink glasses and had her hair up. When they got to her cell, they discovered that someone in the prison had taught her some beginner's karate, blocking kicks with her hands. Then, to their dismay, they discovered that she had gotten two tattoos!!
She had a piece of pizza on her left side and a spine on her right. They looked pretty cool in the dream, especially the spine.
They decided that she really needed to go back to the video game dimension. But when they tried to turn her back into a pixel character, it didn't work! They weren't sure why, but they figured it had to do with the tattoo ink interfering with the interdimensional travel or something. So they brought her to a really shady laser tattoo removal place. It was all dark and smoky there. There were several people getting tattoos removed. But before they could get to the Princess, some interdimensional evildoers came and attacked! The travellers who had brought the Princess couldn't stand up against the attack, so she was left to fend for herself.
She was taken aboard a spacecraft. Somehow she fought her way out, but her only escape was a door that opened out to space. Being from another dimension herself, she didn't need to breathe out there. She was scared, but she jumped out anyway and started "falling" (no gravity, I know, but she fell anyway). This is near where the dream ended so I don't remember much of what happened, but the interdimensional travellers rescued her.
I also remember that the Princess's voice in her human form was lower than her voice is in the games. She joked that she had to put on a fake high-pitched voice for the games.
That's about all I remember. It was so cool….

they must have used Millennnium color works ink on her. Thats well known for causing problems with pixelating or unpixelating people.
