Leilani, there's always time to learn. I'm knee-deep in learning both Khmer and Japanese (don't ask) and it's slow-going, but 30 minutes each per day isn't such a sacrifice. I want to be that guy who elicits shock from the locals when he's able to converse casually on vacation.

The romance languages are relatively easy when bundled... if you can take both French and Italian, for example, you'll be making life easier on yourself! Good luck with the Mandarin! If your textbook is any good, feel free to share the title & author.
naville:
aw that's ok. i'm rather boring too, heritage wise. both my parents are from ecuador. i hear ya tho. it would be so interesting to be from two different cultures at least. i've always had a thing for italians blush
trauma:

Ah thanks for that, i need to find an apron before halloween. i went in all the charity shops yesterday but no luck.
well i found a blue and white checkered one with sewn animals and people on, it was cute so i got it for 50p
but i need a plain white one (i couldnt let a 50p cute apron go haha) either that, or im gonna use the sewing machine. which could be dangerous.. smile
