Hey girl, don't stress yourself too much over school work! If you're looking for a dissertation subject, it may help to look at what others have done in the previous years. Do they have a database at your school with previous year reports? See if you can find some inspiration there... Maybe there's a nice teacher out there that can help you with your subject?
About having to 'grow up' and be responsible and all that BS when you graduate.. it's kind of up to yourself how that goes. To mention one extreme, some friends of mine worked shitty jobs for half a year and decided to fly to Indonesia and live on a cabin on the beach for the rest of the year and just surf.. After that they started looking for 'proper' jobs.
I also know another guy that works at a bank, very corporate, but he goes out every weekend to shoot pictures.. he steadily built a portfolio and is now about to start his career in photography. So don't think you'll be stuck with what you're doing now smile It'll be good to have the degree, it shows you that you can do certain things that might also come in handy for all kinds of other jobs.
Maybe you should see how you can combine your dissertation subject with your interests in surfing or photography.. I don't have any experience in your field, but maybe you can look at how people start their businesses and the pitfalls they encounter.. their secrets to survival and things like that. Maybe I'm just talking BS now.. you decide wink

have you tried talking to an advisor or teacher you get on with a trust? i know that a lot of my friends did that last year with their year abroad dissertations because it was a difficult thing to choose, they're there to help you learn so they should be able to help you otherwise!

We had angel fish once and they were vicious little bastards! hehe
The mattress was 419 and that was Dreams own unbranded one so relatively cheap compared to the big name brands. They did cheaper ones still minus the foam, or just normal sprung ones.
Ikea does cheap ones but they're odd euro sizes, slightly larger than UK ones I believe.

Sad to hear you're sad about uni and the like.
I went through uni not realising what i wanted to do and still not 100% sure what my 'thing' is. besides, I know its sounds cliche but there's plenty of time to find what you wanna do!

I 'discovered' photography a couple of years back and really enjoy snapping away at bands/gigs but its not I do best at (I'm stubborn enough to say they're good enough!). I suppose its realising what you do best and what you enjoy doing are two different things.

Would gladly assist you with the photo thing. Just let me know whatever you require.
