First and foremost, I think your work is very good, especially the portraiture. I like your use of colour too.
So, just a few comments...
I would emphasise your personal style and creativity on your profile, and remove the Photoshop references. This is about you and not the tools you use. I'd also cut the text so that it is all contained on the page, rather than requiring scrolling - many viewers just do not scroll. If you could cut the word count by 50% it would be perfect (I worked in a museum once and, when I produced descriptive labels for artefacts, the curator would say "Fine, now cut it by half"...often more than once!).
Secondly - structured fabrication - can you find another, simpler term? It's hard to tell from the phrase what you mean.
Third, you have a typo in portrait project.
But it's a damn sight better than a lot of websites out there, believe me!
You might want to take a look at the website of a colleague of mine, who works as a photographer in his free time, and is building a very good reputation....
...particularly the 'about us' link at the bottom - tight profile, with a quote for those who can't even be bothered to read that.
Like I said, very good indeed. I hope the tips are useful - I've worked on web design projects before (back in the day). But feel free to ignore it all!
I hope it proves useful. It's always worthwhile checking out sites like I love typography, or similar for examples of good web design. The designers of this site could do worse than spend some time reading it too, especially when it comes to their awful front page!
