Um... welcome back!

England is great (except for the weather). I lived there for three years. The pub culture can be overrated though, IMHO. My favorite town/village/city on the island: Edinburgh (just because the Scots are so much more... sociable to foreigners than the English). But London is still great as well.
thefuckoffkid:
Well hey. Where's the new job?
maike:
Very nice that you're back.
thefuckoffkid:
Cambridge! I've been there (to the town) -- that's going to feel so different to Manhattan! It's like a small quiet town designed for deep reflection.

As for the Newswire, I barely have time to do anything. They're not paying anyway, so I don't feel so bad. wink
obd:
wow. congratulations.
signalnoise:
Whoa! I was just thinking about your this morning! What's going on, what takes you to England?
fatality:
Hey there, nice to see you around again! What'll you be doing in England?
signalnoise:
Congrats on the Cambridge gig! Fancy stuff. So, are you staying with us in the Ivory Tower?

We'll actually be out in NYC in August (the wife is interning the whole first chunk of the summer) - so just like that we'll miss you. Maybe I'll get to Cambridge though. wink
_kungfoo_:
I've been well; going to school part time, hoping to make it full time here relatively soon and make a much needed career change.

I've been to Cambridge many times. Beautiful city especially when the sun is out. A bike is almost mandatory to get around sometimes, especially during the football matches.

It is crazy you are moving across the pond! You must be excited and nervous!

What job are you doing out there? Is your lady traveling with you?

Drop a line when you can.
