I gather the New York community is not as tight as LA [and the lot of us seem to be edging toward 30]. PM me somewhere else in the ether that I might find you.

there is a really good group of folks on the site in San Francisco. I'm just sayin'.

I'll shoot you an email. I signed up for another year recently - so I got like 10 months left. But I'm sort of "over" the site in a lot of ways too. BTW, if its any consolation, the newswire (in my estimation) is mostly a mess since they got rid of most of the member editors (I don't think it's a coincidence that the best shit on there comes from 'Rosa and DG).

M, first, thanks for all of your work and effort to contribute to SG and the groups. You provided many hours of interesting and enlightening stories and comments, and that will be missed. I suspect there are much better uses for your time, and I wish you every success in the future; as much as the net in a incredible resource, it can also be a study in futility and frustration on a personal level. If you ever start up your own op-ed page in the future, let us know. Good luck and good sailing.

Hell, I walk on water smile I believe in education and I back up all my facts with well-furnished evidence. Except that first claim, that was completely spurious. I cannot walk on water, in fact, I can barely walk on 3 gin tonics frown You're right.

I decide to come back once I get that 30 bucks for a year offer or whatever, and everyone I liked on this site is gone.

It really has lost most of its appeal and luster. I kind of regret coming back myself.
