It came as a surprise to me too. The L and M words arent what you expect from a guy after having only known each other for a fortnight and I have yet to ascertain just how serious he was but I cant see your average bloke proposing unless he means it.
I said yes when he asked and I think he was quite surprised when I did but I have no plans to book the church for a while. I still think getting to now each other better would be a good idea, even though I feel like I've known him my whole life already. We clicked as soon as we met.
