Well I have arrived. I am now stretched out on my hotel bed with my laptop and a Mountain Dew. Could life be any better? Oh yeah, it could. 
The flight was alright, no problems there.
Got to O'Hare alright. Found my luggage all in one piece. Very good. Go to Hertz to pick up my rental car. Oops, they don't have the car that I had reserved. Everything up until that point was pretty good so I stayed calm and let them sort it out. I sat there for two hours waiting in the airport for them to get me a damn car. I was hungry and I was tired and I was a little more than ticked. Finally, they remembered I was waiting there. I really just wanted a mid-sized car something small that I am used to driving. But since they put me out, I guess and they felt that I deserved something better they offered me a Land Rover Discovery!!! Ohhh so pretty! After I finally left the airport in my nice pretty rental car I drove around for a bit just enjoying the change of scenery and such. It was nice.
Got to my hotel, checked in. Checked out the pool area and such.
Then I went for another drive. I am just diggin' my new wheels. It's big and it's fun. I must look super tiny driving this thing. At least I feel super tiny. But yeah right now the best part of my trip has been the Land Rover. I miss home. And I haven't even been gone that long. Tomorrow the real fun begins. Yippie.
I'm just glad I have internet access. I would be so bummed out if I didn't have that.
So to order room service or to not order room service that is the question?
