yet another random bitchy thought...
why is it that siblings are such assholes. i can't believe my sister...first some background. she goes on vacation with her "common law spouse" last year to mexico. and on a whim they get married there. which is all fine and well but she didn't get to plan a wedding or anything for herself. so my boyfriend and i announce we're getting married, a small wedding, very plain, not too fancy...in other words very us. so my sister (who remember, didn't get to plan her own wedding by her own choice) is making my wedding all about her. we need to use her ideas for bridesmaids hair, clothes, shoes, makeup, wedding favours, invitations and all the rest. and so i have had to politely tell her these past few months that her ideas are stupid (example: "i think the bridesmaids should just wear long black t-shirts with belts and high heels" = STUPID). and now when i want to go out with my mom...only my mom, to get some things to tie up some loose ends with decorations my sister wants to come and of course i don't want her to cause shes got dumb ideas and she's gotta put her 2 cents in, she gets all offended and has the nerve to say "i have been working on your bridal shower and bachelorette party for 2 weeks and this is how you treat me?!?!" FIRST of all i'm not treating you like anything i want to spend some time alone with my mom that i don't see often cause i don't make her my personal taxi. SECOND of all you volunteered to do that shit for me i didn't ask you to so don't complain about it. THIRD i'm sorry you didn't get to plan your own wedding but leave mine the hell alone!!! ugh. i'm sick of trying to please other people on a day that should be about me and jo...oh well

damn. sounds like hell. i have 2 sisters so i sort of know the dilemma. but fuck it, just please yourself. you can't make everyone happy all of the time.
