I've heard there's good roller derby in Memphis. And if you're really thinking the world is shit you'll be at ground zero when the New Madrid fault goes off again. It's not like those weak earthquakes California has all the time when it does. The last time in the 1800s there were 15ft waves in the ground, the church bells in BOSTON rang, and the town of New Madrid sank below the waves (in the ground). Also, it reversed the flow of the Mississippi briefly, even making a temporary waterfall. I'm drunk myself.

a bunch of my friends are always raving about memphis, how is it really that bad?
obviously much of it is seedy but people from around here are sorta into that kinda thing
given the chance id like to visit it but im a big softy for good old 50s soul, blues, and rock and roll music
and yeah id fit right in at graceland
