Keep the confidence going. When a guy enters a room like he owns it, no one thinks twice. A woman; she's a bitch. One of many cultural "norms" that Needs to be put on junk heap.
The most frequent assumption I get, being a welder/fabricator, is that I'm unintelligent, or straight up dumb. Which is why I have taken on a personal role of trying to make others (coworkers) more open minded and hearted. Look outside the box. Step back and listen to others, and try to understand where they're coming from. Be respectful. Accept. Much love.
