A small mountain town runs like clockwork, day by day. Adults get up and go to their job, children to their school, college students roam from class to class. The elderly shuffle in and out of grocery stores, down the sidewalks, seemingly lost in the world as they look about like a small child who has lost their sense of direction. Morning light illuminates each building side in a way that look picturesque, as an old painting, rustic in appearance. This small mountain town, hardly a spec on the map of the state no less the globe, shimmers delightfully in my eyes. One can't help but enjoy the little things some days.
Happy birthday!
