Where oh where did you happen by a Choke screening? Film festival?

I saw it at the SIFF a few months ago. The book isn't the movie and the movie isn't the book. The film really worked for me. Rockwell fucking owns it. I could pick holes in it if I tried but I don't really want to. Nice use of Radiohead at the end, too.

Depends when you're visiting in October. Throw me some dates and I'll let you know. I'm supposed to be going to Mexico sometime after the 13th. We'll see.

I like Death Cab For Cutie, didn't get tickets to their gig though. Bit of a shame but I'm stashing money for margaritas and weird, arcane ouija boards.

Plus lots of soundtracks, one off songs that are cheesy as fuck and really poppy but I love anyway and plenty of spoken word and stand up comedy albums. See; Patton Oswalt, Eugene Mirman, David Cross and compositions by Ennio Morricone, Angelo Badalamenti and a bunch of guys who do the music for Japanese anime but whose names I can't pronounce, let alone spell.
