Took my first shots at 100 yards today! It was a lot of fun. It was kind of windy (9 mph SSE), but I didn't do too bad. Could be better though. I'm going to try and do what I did today at least once a week (9 rounds in 3, 3 round sequences). I think I can afford that. Here are some pictures:

The target. Not my best shooting. I'm dead on at 25 yards so the shots should be about 3" high, other than that it's all wobble and fuck up. I'm planning to practice though...and it was windy!
The rifle is a Remington 710 in 7mm Remington Magnum (I wish it was a 700...specifically a lefty 700 SPS Varmint in .308). I was shooting Remington Express Core-Lokt 175 grain rounds (a good factory round in my humble opinion...I have a box of Winchester Supreme Ballistic Silvertip 150 grain that I want to try out).
