Think about investing in a pack of protein shakes. Target has some good ones like "Evolve" or "muscle Milk". The vanilla tastes pretty decent. They come in 4 packs. You need to drink it within a half hour of your workout and I swear they work so well for me.
I've been working out for a week. Weight training and cardio. I almost feel like new the next day when instead I could be in a bunch of pain from the lifting.

Also, if you have general questions about living on Hawaii, let me know. I lived there for about a year in 2009. Sadly though I never made it to Maui.
