pough:
(hug) It will be okay?

Years ago, I was having nightmares. It was starting to freak me out until I noticed a pattern. Every time I woke up, I was on my back. Why is that noteworthy? I sleep on my stomach. When I turn over onto my back, my throat closes up and I stop breathing. This translates into fear in whatever dream I'm having and I wake up scared. As soon as I figured that out, they didn't bother me any more.

Other dreams I've woken up from, I've noticed how feelings in the real world affect them. In one I was running, but as I woke up I started to feel the grogginess of being half asleep. So in the dream my legs got tired and I felt like I was running in molasses until finally I was actually starting to lie down to have a nice sleep... and woke up.

Then there was the dream where a fat duck waddled up and leaned against my leg. I woke to find my mom sitting on my bed telling me to wake up. She was on my leg.

Oh, and since I'm already babbling. Every Japanese person I know thinks that Root Beer tastes disgusting in the same way as medicine. Maybe cough syrup is gross because it's not something that's good for you. At least I assume it's not. What does it do to you when you don't have a cough?
