I agree. Completely. I will never defend the government of the United States. Ever.

That said, slavery might be legally over, but people of color are second class citizens in this country. They are second for jobs, second for education, # for prison population (and don't tell me its because :they: are inherently bad in nature. Our culture is biased and racist and i believe that to even things out a bit, reparations are needed.

Again, I don't recall her saying one racist thing there. Lux is one of my best friends in the world, and it's pathetic that someone who doesn't know a thing about her is calling her a racist over a post that was anything but.

I don't care if lux is one of your friends, she's racist, and she says some pretty fucked things on this website, and in person. I know her outside this site, but, no, i'm not her friend, and i don't want to be. While she didn't say anything blatently racist in that statement, she infered that because she got her ass kicked by a black guy, that she has a right to hate the race in general. Gimme a break.

i will have a new internet link tomorrow and i won't have to hike 8 miles out of the wilderness anymore to pay 1$ for 10 minutes...i was getting used to the anti-tech thing, but it sure was lonely out there, i will be done in another month with livin' in the woods...i hope it is all worth it....i think in situations like the one you just described people hesitate on intervention because they are intimidated by that stigma, even though they might be racist even, because they want to chjoose the moment they would take action and it is probably easy for most people who witnessed an incident go down like that to dismiss both of you as "unworthy" of consideration because of physical appearances....kinda like a "let em' kill each other" attitude...but i am considered insane, so what do i know...
