I took a class on Native American history and almost every day I felt so sory. Even though my ancesters were still in Ireland and Germany when most of the damage was done.

It still made me sad every day listening to how we screwed them over so sucsessfully and are still screwing them over.

some times you just need to step back and aknowledge and respect the atrocities of life. preventing them from hapening in the future is the best way to honor them in my opinion.

Rather than handing over money directly, a better balance in how tax money is invested in communities would be better. Reperations are just feeding on guilt and are strictly a short term measure and in my mind, have the potential of making things worse because the issue will focus on money rather than reformation. I believe if the exact same picture/leaflet were used but with the word: REFORM on the bottom instead, that would be - I think - looking at what really needs to be done.
