June 3rd was a day well spent. I drove in a rented Pontiac Vibe from Providence, RI to Portland, ME to get started on a tattoo. It seems crazy to drive that far but it was worth it. The artist, Danielle Madore, did a bang up job. It isn't finished yet. I have another day to finish it off. But I am super psyched at the progress so far.
I posted it earlier, but it merits saying again because it makes me feel like a genius. Having somebody tattoo you is probably the most intimate and personal thing you can share, right next to sex I think.
Anyway, here is a picture of it; remember this is a work in progress.
When he is all finished it will be green, and then as you get farther away from the eyes it will move into more autumnal colors.
What I am reading: 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
What I am listening to: The sound of traffic on a rainy day outside my window
