I know what it's like to thrive on heartbreak. I had a steady diet of it for years. I had myself convinced that I enjoyed the sadness. In a way, I suppose I do, or rather, I did. I haven't had a real bout with sadness in a number of years. I agree that being up is not the same unless you've been down.

Lately though, my trend has been to stay right in the middle. My life is a string of crushes that nothing gets done about. If I don't climb the ladder, I won't fall off of it. Lame, I know.

By the way, the song you've posted crashes my browser.

I think Quicktime was just having a fit momentarily. It seems to be working now. That really is a beautiful song. I still haven't figured out how you can find so much amazing music that I have never heard.

"Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something."

Live your life and enjoy the small things in spite of this, rather than because of this.

Some people can ignore or are unaware of the underlying layer of pain in life. I have learned to let myself melt with joy on a daily basis over the small beautiful things that so often get ignored as part of everyday existence, and it lets me walk above that layer... but that layer exists, and I don't ignore it either.

I have your grill, will that help ease some heartbreak?
