I think so, it's the best when one feels pure unadulterated Joy, well for me anyway, joy is a feeling, don't get me wrong I am still materialistic, I like nice things but only because they give me joy.
Joy for me is that euphoric feeling in the present moment when I am eternally grateful to be alive! Happiness for me is seeing hope in the future, both are good but I prefer joy!
