Friday night was all right; we went out but I was saving my liver for Sat with my Ottawa girlies, so I DD'd. Met this cool kid who the girlie and I really hit it off with. He was so excited about meeting his first [whisper] lesbian [/whisper] couple. What a cutie.
Sat we headed to Ottawa, I got sushi, we killed some time at a Comic Book Shoppe on Bank St and I picked up a couple of interesting items.
Last night I read the first 3/4 of it, and I'm looking forward to finishing it tonight.
Also on Sat night we met up with one of my Ottawa girlies, and we got to see Koston in a burlesque show! It was hilarious and hot and awesome. Did you know she could strip while hula-hooping?
After the show, we met up with another friend and her new partner and had a few pints at the Royal Oak, and then boogied down at The Edge.
A good night was had by all.
Yesterday was amazing, too, as I got to pop in to my favourite bakery and pick up the bestest croissants I've ever devoured, ever. I thought ahead and picked up a half dozen, but I honestly should have just bought them all. /drool.
