I just got a Nikon D5000 a while back and i love it. its easy enough to use for a hobbyist but advanced enough to get really good prof. looking pics.

The Nikon D7000 is one of the best cameras out there beating more expensive ones in a lot of categories. I got one recently and am loving it.
