After talking to my parents this weekend I think I'm going to try to buy a house when I move back to Arizona. I found some decent looking SUPER cheap foreclosures in decent neighborhoods. Plus I hate apartment living and I probably have too much shit at this point in my life to fit in an apartment I can afford. I can get a whole house plus taxes and insurance right now for what I was paying in rent on my last apartment there. My dad suggested I sell some of my furniture before moving which is a really good idea. I have what was once beautiful sold cherry wood furniture that weighs a ton. It's been damaged from being moved all over Phoenix and then twice in Michigan and 8 years of Edgar my chinchilla comping on it. It's not really worth moving anymore and I want new more modern stuff anyway.
I have a realtor coming to look at my current house on Tuesday. Everyone cross your fingers he thinks I can get what I want or near it when I sell it. I also hope it sells fast so I can get the hell out of here and on with my life.

That's a good plan. Sell the old cumbersome furniture. Get newer furniture, the kind that comes in smaller boxes, with some assembly required
