I didn't go to the parades because my friend got us a pass to tour the Navy Ships in the harbor--I was a bit amazed to find some of our "heroes in blue" to be overwheight...some of them downright fat! Oh well, I guess they don't actually have to physically fight the enemy up close.
Anyway, I don't think anyone is reading this. I'm not even sure why I'm writing it. Actually, it's my last semester before moving to the Ph.D. level, and I've completed most of my course-work already...I only work from 6:00-8:AM in the morning, then go to school on Teusdays, Thursdays and Fridays, so I'm extremely bored. Southerners arent the most openly affectionate people in the country.

I sent a message to Amelie and actually got a response. HOWEVER, you never know with these sites if the person you contact ever REALLY responds, or if some guy working for the site sends out stock responses. But in any case, it lifts my spirits....I love getting E-mails that arent trying to sell something.
