I was really scared to get my wisdom teeth too. I had to get mine out when I was 16, but it ended up not being a big deal. Just make sure you havelots of yummy liquids, frozen peas to use as ice packs, plenty of books and movies, and enjoy the time off and trippy dreams. You'll be fine!

I had all 4 of mine taken out while i was in bootcamp. I was awake and just numbed up. Then I got 1 day of bed rest, a days worth of Vicodin then back to training. You'll do fine, just make sure you keep food out of the wounds. ooo aaa

Good luck! I actually loved getting my wisdom teeth out, just local, listening to some thrash punk on my ipod. Healed super quick even though some were impacted.

Good luck. People exaggerate how bad it is to get wisdom teeth out. As long as the dentist isn't a total moron and pumps you up w/ enough novocaine you'll be golden.

I opted to just have a local when I had my wisdom teeth out. I would not advise that to anyone because the procedure seemed to be more construction/demolition then medical. Give them a thumbs up for all the drugs they want to give you! Rest up and heal quick!

I had all four of mine yanked out in my early twenties and I'm glad I did it all at once. They knocked me out completely and gave me Demerol for the pain afterwards.... I was in total bliss for a couple of days.

aww! babe! it's really not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. i had all four of mine removed at once, (they were all impacted too so they had to be cut out of my gums) and it was honestly nothing. I was all healed up pretty well within a week! Hope that makes you feel better about it! Cuddle up with your kitties, and enjoy the awesome painkillers and excuse for endless icecream xxx

i had my bottom wisdom teeth taken out in boot camp..... best drugs money can buy HAHAHAHA. you'll be fine, just be carefull what you eat gums can get infected. then they gota cut your mouth open all over agin. :/ thats what happened to me
