Pobre!
jetwindag:
I've experienced that once, but no strange figures or aliens around me however I remember some sort of black fog around me and strange, bright lights coming from nowhere.
kimtylor:
kimtylor:
😱 OMG... 👽 you think?
thanatoz:
julha:
OMG! I had shivers reading this one. lol
vullpe:
Aún me sucede a veces.
loka:
I love talking about these subjects, I don't sleep at night kakakakka but I love
shalil:
So creepy 😨
pattmyn:
I used to experience the same paralysis as a child but never knew it "was a thing" until recently (past few years). I'd remember waking up in the middle of the night as a young boy and trying to call out to my mother and father for help because something was just...not right within my bedroom. I wasn't sure if I had a nightmare or if I was still dreaming or what it was - all I knew is that I was terrified. It would take me ages to even screech out a tiny bit of "Muuuum..." and I had no idea why I couldn't speak in those hours and just thought it was normal for a kid. I'd eventually get enough "control" to call out properly and my mum would come to the rescue every time. I had never told my parents about these odd instances in the night or the "symptoms" so I just sort of endured the events. It was only when we had our first family dog that I realized something was amiss; Whenever I'd experience these events, my beloved Panda (her name) would instantly BOLT to my room and stand on the floor at what would be the "middle" of my bed (located in the far corner of the room) and begin to growl. Panda was a gentle giant - a big ol' pile of fur, quick wit, and comfort when I needed her most - so for her to growl and even show teeth was almost unheard of. Nevertheless, there she was - fully ready to pounce on whatever may have threatened me. The sleep paralysis became less frequent from that point forward and would be short lived even if it did happen since I'd have my canine protector at my side in an instant. I eventually matured into an early teen and moved to a different bedroom in the house and the events stopped entirely. I can't explain any of it to this day, but good lord was that terrifying as a kid and almost more terrifying as an adult realizing it wasn't just something that happened to me.
kimtylor:
kimtylor:
@julha I knoooow right?
kimtylor:
kimtylor:
@loka  JAJAJAJA Igualita que yo!
kimtylor:
@pattmyn OMG I bet that to experience this when you are a kid it's 1000 times more scary!... Sorry that you had to experience it! :(
pattmyn:
@kimtylor Well that's the funniest part - as a kid you just think it's normal and just push through it since it's not like you're asking folks about similar experiences. It's almost a perfect practical example of "ignorance is bliss".
vullpe:
No me sucede tan a menudo ahora... Menos mal! 🖤🧡 @kimtylor ...
kimtylor:
"ignorance is bliss" so true!!!
pattmyn:
@kimtylor It really is true. It goes along with the same train of thought as "you don't know what you have until it's gone". We just grow up thinking everything we're experiencing is normal and never bother to pipe up or ask questions when in reality we're experiencing something completely divergent from most of our peers.
