Group Spotlight: SG Hopefuls/ Hopefuls Only
Hi y’all! I’ve been around here for awhile (20 years in April if you can believe it?) so I thought I’d share some SG facts and tips by highlighting different groups on the site.
This week I thought I’d focus on the Hopefuls Groups - SG Hopefuls and Hopefuls Only. These two groups are similar but have two different member demographics!

The SG Hopefuls group was something that I read super often back when I was a hopeful and even before. This group is for members AND models alike. This group is a great place to get info and feedback regarding your hopefuls sets. This a good place for you to promote your upcoming sets in MR or sets that may have been around for awhile.
Who should use the SG Hopefuls group?
Members and models. Members, if you’d like to help our hopefuls along in their journey - here is a place where you can meet them, share your fave models, and give NICE, CONSTRUCTIVE feedback. Models, if you’re a hopeful, you should join this group and read up on past threads for sure.
What should you NOT post in the SG Hopefuls group?
Spam. For the love of God, read the pinned threads. Do not start your own thread unless you have a good question that hasn’t been answered, lol. The search function is your friend!

This group is more of a lounge for our Hopefuls. This is a great place to make friends. This is also a place where you’ll get announcements and updates from staff. You can use this group to ask questions to your fellow hopefuls (like, “is this cover photo good or should I pick a different picture?”). You can use this group to network, give feedback on photographers you’ve used, and make friends. This is also the place where you can find info on cashing out those tips, like which payout method works best for models in your location. (Hint: if you need even more help, email me at Kiley@suicidegirls.com).
Who should use the Hopefuls Only group?
Any Hopeful that wants to make friends, network and make the most of their SG journey.
What should you NOT post in the Hopefuls Only group?
Spam. Spamming is never fun. Mean or rude comments to other models. This is a place for kindness!

Back in the day, these groups were super busy all of the time. I know there’s a ton of other social media platforms, but this is the BEST place to get to know your other hopefuls, because it’s actually on SG. I’ve made some of the best friends in my life through this site. Your experience is what you make of it, so take advantage of the groups on the site to grow your experience and make new friends.
