I'm writing this because of a blog that a Hopeful recently wrote about member's leaving rude and hurtful tags on her photoset. Here at SuicideGirls we try really hard to keep this a safe place where every girl can put herself out there and be respected.
With the updated site, we are no longer able to disable tags on sets, or to block members from making tags. HOWEVER, staff members ARE able to delete these tags, and we are able to warn members who feel the need to be rude, disgusting or disrespectful.
If ANYONE out there has tags that they want removed, or is facing this issue, please let me know. You can always email me at Kiley@suicidegirls.com (that's the quickest way to get in touch - I rarely get the chance to check my private messages on the site but I always have my email open!).
I never want to see any girl feel sad or uncomfortable because someone behind a computer has the audacity to exercise their "freedom of speech" by telling a girl what they think is wrong with their body. Every girl who is bold or proud enough to shoot for this site and show off their body is my hero. At 32, I don't feel the same way about myself as I did when I was 25. I would give anything to feel that again about myself, and put myself out there.
and also, CAN WE PLEASE STOP TAGGING SETS WITH THE TAG "ASSHOLE"?! It really makes it look like you're calling the girl an asshole, and that's just ridiculous.
