I said I would write a longer blog for you guys. I've been back on the East Coast for a week and every day I tell myself it's only temporary. I got a text message from Havana while I was out to lunch with my siblings that reminded me that and made me smile. Now I just have to not puss out when I see my manager on Friday and tell her that I'm leaving. I'm dreading this because she is a crazy Russian sociopath that will make it all about how terrible I'm treating her. Worse than a break up, honestly!
Anyway, I really love California. It makes me feel home. I'm trying to figure out how to relax, because I don't know how. I think moving out there might be a start. Looking for a job (if I can't transfer) and an apartment. While I was out there, Corey and I went to Disneyland (because I'm a giant child), we went to the beach, we drove around a lot, he brought me home cupcakes every day... and weed rainbow sour belts. We drove up to Monterey and went to my favorite place as a child, the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Seriously, I love it there. Then the last day I was in California we made a quick stop at the Golden Gate National Cemetery, where my mother is buried, and a quick drive through San Francisco since he'd never seen the Golden Gate bridge. Also while I was there I got to meet Gunner and see Havana again, which is one of the reasons I love this website.
Here's some pictures from my phone because I have these here and I can't share my instax photos:
dumb plane face-- had to make an emergency landing in Kansas because an old woman on my plane fainted and wanted emergency medical attention. Thanks lady.
Pinks! Right around the corner from Corey's apartment.
uh, yes, please.
aaaand now I'm back here, impatiently just waiting to leave. The quicker the better. Thanks for reading, or looking at my pictures. You can always find some more here, on instagram: Lasuchabitch
