Glad you got awesome news. I got a degree in political science too, but haven't used it. So i know what it's like to learn one thing and do another. But you can always enjoy more than just one thing in life.

I allways use to say that school is important, but if you don't feel motivated, take a break, do something else and go back to school later.

@kieve i hear u girl i was a child of a academic/teacher family and i was forced studying the same and always had a lot of pressure on me to function. i finished my degree yes but i started traveling, drawing, working with coffee, modeling, studying languages - well doing what makes me happy and just because i do not do anything wth my master's degree doesn't mean i am a failure - i just want to be happy and be myself rather than being stuck in something i hate doing. big hug to you reading this made me cry a little since i would love to hear the same from my mom...... one day maybe :/

My youngest daughter has a degree in political science and now works for the State.  She was working on her Masters and got burned out.  I told her, whatever she decides, I am very proud of her.  It's her (your) life.  Make it what you will.  But, be happy.  She's not going for her Masters any more, and I'm still so proud of her.  You are very fortunate to have a parent who understands and who is also very proud of you.  Im very happy for you ;-)
