The Zombie Survival Guide is good, but I'm not through with it yet. I'd definitely recommend it if you're into zombies. I completely am, and I must say that if the world did end, I might be like your friend: zombies would be an interesting way to go. And at least you'd have a small chance, rather than the world nuking itself. But then you have to weigh how much suckage dying would comprise and reanimating as a member of the living dead political party.
I also got World War Z. Haven't got to it yet but it's by the same guy. You may want to take a look at it too. If you want I'll let you know what I think of it when I'm finished. I believe it might be a narrative zombie fiction about an outbreak, but I'm not positive. It sort of came bundled in with the former audio program.
