In my freshman high school year an officer came in with a display box showing all sorts of wonderful drugs and as a public service he described their effects for us. PCP sounded the best to me, and I'm still the tiniest bit dissapointed I never tried the stuff.

my dad works in hospitals and the best/worst accidents happen during the full moon. not to mention i've jacked several liquor stores recently, proving the officer's point.

More births occur on the full moon too. I think bodies and minds go looney for a day.

I know my pets always go nuts (or more nuts, I should say) during a full moon. And most of them can't even read the little lunar symbols on the calendar.

Whenever I'm around them, even in the same town, I get very very angry. All the time. It gets worse when I live with them...

The anger morphs into depression and then it cycles back. I can't even visit over there right now...

Sigh...

I don't know if ALL men hurt themselves... I've recently encouraged a friend of mine to get his own place and move out of his folk's plcae... they're horribly dysfunctional, though. Mine aren't... they're nice and normal and quiet.

The term "lunatic" is derived from the way that the lunar cycle is supposed to affect people. But like Aspasia says, it might just be the light being better on such nights...
