Ha! I live in the middle of a city of 400,000, but I still have raccoons and possums trying to eat the food that I leave out for the stray cat that I've adopted. FYI, that crazy furball can hold her own against a raccoon I guess it's because she was mostly starved to death and in really bad shape when she wandered into my yard, so she's really protective of her food.
