I gotta say I was dissapointed with Manson's show. First of all, I hated the crowd there. Way too many people. And many of them were fuckin hippies and some preppies which shouldnt be allowed in at all. A bunch of like 40 yr old moms and shit. Those people were crazy. I almost got in 2 fist fights. This girl fucking bit my brother!! There should be a screening 2 weeks before the show asking like 5 questions about Manson albums just to qualify actual fans from people who just want to go to "a concert". I hate the general public.
Manson sounded good and everything, but what a horrible setlist. It was like 10 covers and all his singles. Im tired of hearing him play the same songs at every show. I mean the crowd goes wild when "sweet dreams" starts, that came out like a decade ago. He should play some of the more meaningful songs you never see on MTV that real fans will appreciate. Instead he comes out with "Personal Jesus", "Tainted Love", "Sweet Dreams", "Mobscene"..I mean come on. This was about my 5th time seeing him and even though I always enjoy it, this was the worst ive seen. The stilts were pretty cool, and I did really enjoy seeing him in his black suit on the podium again for the last song. That was from back in the day when I saw him in 96'
But anyways. I think Im gonna go to a show next week too. On the 8th Newport is having Ministry come, which I dont really listen too, but Ive heard good things. The real reason Im going is because Hanzel Und Gretyl are opening and they are amazing. Unfortunately my OSU orientation is the same day so hopefully I can get out from that in time to go. Dear god, I have sooo much shit to do this month its scary. Finals next week, gotta sell my car, move to campus, get scheduled at OSU, find a roomate, make more money, buy more shit, and figure out how its all gonna happen. Help??
