delaying vaccines was mostly because i feel it's to much for a baby's small body to handle. we we did get Max's shots we did one at a time. many vaccines have a mercury based preservative in it which has been linked to Autism and severe ADD/ADHD, Mothering Magazine is a really good resourse for info on Vaccines.
Well there is a British band called Saint Etienne that I'm a big fan of. I've never been able to classify music into genres very well, but I guess you could call them "dance pop". If you're looking for songs by them, try to find "Only Love Can Break Your Heart". If you want a good introduction to their music, get Smash the System (it's cheaper if you order it from the .co.uk site, even with shipping costs).
My first favorite band was Fleetwood Mac, I started listening to them after their reunion tour in '97. I also got into the lead singer Stevie Nicks' solo stuff.
After that I got into Bjrk, but I have kind of a negative association with her now so I haven't been listening to her at all anymore.
My first favorite music, though, was oldies. In my teens I listened to the oldies station religiously. My family was all into the Beatles so I heard a lot of that growing up. And as I said in my journal I like Motown a lot.
I really need to explore more music though, I tend to fixate on one or two bands (like Annie) and not look at anything else. So this year one of my resolutions is to try to discover more music
