That's good - I should probably try it, too.
Nicky is cute, I sometimes call him "Cute" instead of "Nicky". Right now, he's playing with a toy that rattles, and giving me looks when I laugh at him.
Yes, I have been doing it for a long time. I did it every day for a year in college, but have now do a short routine every AM and a longer on once a week. I encourage you to learn and practice more.
I used the book LIGHT ON YOGA by BKS Iyengar.
Aww yeah, it hurts at first in the sense muscles get sore, not sure about knees though, they shouldnt hurt from it?? I always get sore muscles if i dont go for a week or 2, but thats normal and means u have had a good workout!
That said, if its hurting your knees thats not good... maybe learn hatha yoga first, then try ashtanga again
im pretty sure iyenga and hatha is the same... i have the same book the girl mentioned above and its all hatha yoga poses... all yoga is really just a variation of one other kind of yoga!!! some just focus on different things... either way. whatever yoga you do it is all good for you!
