speed reading is one of those things u pick up when u read from an early age i think..
i do it.. have done since i was a kid. so when i wanted to enjoy a book i found myself jus reading parts of it to learn the point of the story. which kidna deminishes the actualy reason for reading say a fiction novel..

ive taught myself to slow down on approriate books now though..

Yup. It's real. I can't do it to save my life, but still, it exists.
