Damn it sounds like you work a lot, where are you working? Where does your boyfriend work? he could have at least stayed up and talked to you. could you not have taken the bus, or a cab out.

That is a rather shitty time. You are seemingly a little to good and nice to the BF and his pals. Hope it gets better than that for ya. So what have I been up to?? Nothing. Ha. I am such a loser. I work, hang out at home and try to sleep from time to time. Nothing worth bragging about really. So am I to assume you are loving life out in Cali? that sucks, no offense to your bf but i would make him help with some of the stuff that you're doing! you go to work then come home and do all that stuff, picking up after him...it just doesn't sound fair to me!
