hey...
why do you wanna move here?? i use to live in Virginia. USA is so much better than this place... do you know where abouts you wanna move?? City or Town? i live in the south west. Taunton. its okay there are worst places to live.. i Go up to Bristol alot, i really like it there. there are always things to do.
Yeah.. that answers me!
There's bound to be people on here who would be looking for a flat/houseshare .. or know of someone who is... especially if your not fussy as to whereabouts you wanna live.
Everybody has bad credit here.. so no need to worry about that!
Mobiles (..or 'cells' as you call them ) are easy to get hold of, although you might have to do pay as you go until you get permanent address... you'll get a UK number then easiest way is to just ask sprint to forward calls from your US number if you want to.
Thanks for the sweet comment. I'm back in town so just let me know when you want to get together for lunch or something and get the rest of your pics. I've had suicide dreams before. They are very strange but real, kinda like yours. I think sometimes it is just a way of our mind working out things even though we aren't suicidal. Sounds like there is alot to find out before moving. I'm curious to know how that all works to. I wonder if they even do credit reports in the UK? I bet you could find a roomate there pretty easy. Talk to you soon.
Oh my goodness, girlie. You have so much going on! I wish I had some words of wisdom about moving to the UK. Is there a group here you can join to put you in touch with more London people?
It could mean nothing, just a collection of memories released though your subconscious. I honestly have no clue! Thy are pretty strange, dreams dont always make sense. I had a ufo dream the other night too!! Freaky! There was a crash near the Spokane river where my cousin lives and the fbi and all the government people were scurrying about asking questions and taking photos. They told me that they had seen this kind of thing before and took me to a truck with all these documents in it, then they showed me pictures of all these aliens and space crafts. It was crazy.
I guess Im not much of a help here.
Did you ever find out about matt?
if youre moving to the UK send me postcards!
Lemme know when you wanna get to Andromedas
hey, i'll certainly help you. in fact, i'll move in with you! my credit's bad too it'd be fine! do you want town or city life, or quiet peaceful country life?
Wallmart owns the Asda supermarkets in the UK http://www.asda.co.uk/ think its pretty easy to get a job with them, I had a mate that used to go out with us on a friday get totally hammered then when we went home he'd go to work the night shift stacking fruit/veg etc, seemed to get away with it!
Mobile phone probably some thing like a Virgin or Orange pay as you go would be cheapest, depending on how much you use it - just go round some stores when you get here and they'll work it out for you. If your phones triple band you might be able to bring it over and just swap the sim card?
Where you moving to?
Trains and buses are useless here, night bueses and underground in London are OK, but London costs a fortune to live/go out have fun - I lived there for a year, had to leave as I wasn't breaking even living there. Another thing about London - don't even think about having a car there! Elsewhere you'll probably want one (or a friend with one)
I dont know what the rules are, but I'd get your Washington licence before coming here, otherwise passing your test here might be a bit of a nightmare. Switching sides of the road is a piece of piss though really - never had any problems driving in europe on the other side.
Anyway there's loads of UK SG sorts so you shouldn't have a problem sorting something out/finding a place
...well, the first thing I'd suggest is that you join up with us at SGUK - I can't really give you much help on the accommodation front as I don't even have my own place right now but there's plenty of good (if slightly odd) people over on this side of the Atlantic who I'm sure can help you out better than I. I'll even vouch for you if need be.
i just read back through your last few posts about travelling to the uk, if your considering manchester it is usualy cheaper to fly to manchster from the us via mainland europe i.e. you get a flight from seatle to ny, ny to paris/brussels/amsterdam/dublin etc etc then from your chosen eu city you get a shuttle flight into manchester, it always works out cheaper if a lil longer traveling times
for london its often cheaper to get a flight direct into heathrow.
if you want any more help with plans for the manchester area email me and ill do my best to help you out, accommodation isnt too hard if you dont mind sharing, we have 2 very large universities in manchester (same as grad school ) Asda is now joint owned by Wal Mart and it doesnt matter where you are in te city your never far from an asda store, and all are on fairly main bus routes. the public transport in manchster is pretty good to the south of teh city centre, its not so good to the north however (partly cos all the unis & colleges are in the south i think)
if you hold a full driving licence for the state you are in and it has allowances for other states i think you are allowed to drive in the uk without taking a test, although they might make you take a small test to make sure your up to uk standards, i can check that out for you if you want as well
anything else you want help with just leave a message on my page or email me through it and ill do my best to help you good luck with it all
babe....thats nuts. i have got nothing....just that your feelings are way too in tune. *BIG HUG* i'm glad they are leaving you alone for the time being. I figured talking to them would help. about this dream just wait maybe meaning will come out of it, but for the time being please stay away from anything sharp....your skin is way too beautiful for it to be separated from itself
no no more colds.....need to be nice and healthy for u
I had a dream earlier this year about slashing my wrists and being a totally not-suicidal person it was kinda disturbing. But the thing that's strange is that my cuts healed themsleves too. i think maybe our heads can't quite deal with the "trauma" to the dreaming body so they attempt to correct it. But that seems a bit esoteric/mystical to me.
As far as dream interpretation. The best advice is to not trust any book written about dream interpretation. Its a scam. Dreams are so intensely persona that you are the ony one who can really crack the code. Although, in general, death is a symbol for change.
Personally I keep a dream journal....I know it sounds cheesy but it helps me remember. The other important thing is to start figuring out what certain people/places/objects represent to you and which parts of you are projected into the dreams.
Mostly the dreams start to make more sense if you just pay attention and try to remember them. That's the hardest part. But don't worry the big dreams come in waves and will pass soon enough.
Also, I'm glad you liked the poem...I was a bit worried when you didn't say anything about it.
Scary effing dream there!!! Weird that you had a dream like that about my sis and you, I'm surprised I wasn't part of the dream. Anywho I want to move to Europe too it works out for me a lot more than the US period, because the US has just gotten so drab and boring. S o do what you want hopefully we stay in touch if we don't I'll be sad
im still undecided about whether or not to stay on the site, but even if i dont stay you can get one of my email addys off the contact tab on my profile page and ill do my best to help you if you decide on manchester for traveling
i know that Yorkie has vouched for you to become a member of SGUK which is full of helpfull people all over the uk (thats actually where i found you at )
p.s. i like those sgs you listed but they arent my favs
That's a long journal post! ... Your dream does sound a bit fooked up!
I gather from it you are moving to the UK... whereabouts? (and why, if you don't mind me asking?) ... renting won't be hard anywhere really.
..and no we don't have sprint here
