As per the email I posted in my journal, here are a few nice words for you, even though you are worthy of many more: You are awesome. You have always been there for me in the rough times, telling me what I needed to hear to get through it. Like, you know, when my stupid ex-boyfriend of three years dumped me with all that jibber-jabber about how he hadn't felt this bad since he was 16 and tried to kill himself, and somehow this was all my fault. We both know it wasn't, but I needed someone to say it. Again and again. So, in a way, anything awesome that I do with my life is because you helped me see that that one awful experience did not break me. In addition to being a good listener and advice-giver, you are also brutally honest, which I respect and need from my friends. Oh yeah, and you look hot in vinyl, which is no mean feat.
