A really good brewery in SoCal is in Hunnington Beach and it's called Beach City Brewery. I only know of it because my dad helped build it, but the brewmaster over there is a savant. Everything I've ever had over there is amazing.
I'm so jealous! I tried to get the Stone Go-to tonight at the bar and they had sold it all in one day. If you like IPAs, you should check out Green Flash Palette Wrecker. It's insanely hoppy and delicious
Oh no! That sucks. I am not an avid IPA drinker, but every once in a while its so good to sip on and when its on draft its just flawless. I will check it out. Thank you for suggesting it. (: @jdog1985
Fat Tire started me on the Craft Beer path as well. Had a Paulaner Oktoberfest last night and it was great. Check out the app "Untappd" its a beer rating/tracker app.
Ive only had it for a few weeks but I love it since Im the worst at remembering what I have tried/want to try. Particularly when it comes to making trips to Bevmo/Total Wine or hitting up places with large beer lists.
Here are some of my favorite beers/pubs. I tend to lean towards blonde ales, white ales, and hefewiezens. 1. Sierra Nevada Kellerweis, 2.Einstok Icelandic white ale, 3. Russian River Co. Redemption Blonde Ale, 4. Hoegaarden Belgian white ale (a staple good beer that always pulls through), 5. Saint Archer White Ale (soo good)
how did i miss this blog? i love my craft breweries and while i was in San Diego i tried some of the Karl Strauss beers. it was awesome. I love how craft Breweries are on the rise
