Aw, I think all younger siblings do that. My sister used to rip me off completely from the day she was born until the day I left home. She's more her own person these days (kids, long term boyfriend, whilst juggling a degree and job) and very different to me, but then recently I got the impression that she was taking cues from me again - I'd mentioned I'd taken up knitting and she knows that I already dabble in making clothes, she shot back in no time "I want to learn to knit and I want to get a sewing machine too...". It's really kind of sweet, though.
I wish she'd go back to her phase where she got into punk, though. She suited the aesthetic of it look so well (*grumble*) even if she was a bit clueless on other aspects of it. She likes her trendy high street fashion, though, which is fair enough.
I like what I've seen of your photography. I dabbled in photography for a bit and still have an interest in it, but I've given up on the idea of ever being a bona-fide photographer.
I'm really into Cindy Sherman, Nan Goldin, Ralph Meatyard, Hiromix, Weegie and a whole lot of other photographers, but they really verge on being artists rather than photographers (I say that, because 'photographers' tend to focus predominantly on the technical aspects, perhaps).
