Has anyone else noticed that good and bad come in overwhelmingly powerful waves? One day everything will go bad. Everything that could go wrong, does. Not in a "it seems like everything is going wrong" way, but in a more literal sense. Even the little things that aren't that big a deal start adding to the melee and pretty soon you're in a ravine of shit that looks like it's gonna take a week or two to climb out of. Then, somehow, everything comes back twofold in your favor. Not only is every big issue in your life completely sound, but you hit every green light, find a twenty on the ground, and the girl you've been eyeing in Scolaris walks up and asks you for your number. Now, I'm usually not one to believe in, well, anything really. But I believe in these cycles of good and bad. I guess it is the same as believing in change which isn't all that spectacular or particularly interesting, but there seems to be more to it than that. Sometimes you just can't call it coincidence.
