Are you into comic books at all? If so I recommend talking a look at the Samurai Jack DVD it's very cinematic 1970's Jack Kirby fun. One thing that I didn't go into to is that I don't watch TV, I see shows on DVD so that I can watch when and where I want...

Anyway, the last concert that I attended was Southern Culture on the Skids, the hipster factor aside they put on a solid rocking show. That same night Ghoultown (a texas horror country band) were playing town and I had to pick. If you guys ever make it up this way the place you want to play is Triple Rock Social Club.

so i pick up this weeks OC Weekly after work to see if any good shows are coming up and what do i see? Well, on top of Exene's show with the Skulls and the Weirdos tomorrow, i see the Avengers coming to town, a Dickies/Crowd show, The Addicts/total chaos/ channel 3, Stiff Little Fingers (coming in Aug.), The Addicts/ Dickies/ Agent Orange/CH3 (different show), the GoGo's, X, apparently a MC5 reunion at the HOB anaheim, and the Damned!

What the fuck is going on???!!!!! Of course this is all very nice, but....What the fuck is going on!!!!

hey, what do you think about a show forum page for the APU site? It can be a board where we post about shows we go to. This would be neat as there are a lot of older bands touring now and later this summer. This way we can hear about shows we miss and if the bands are still any good.
